Revelation 2:19 (NLT)
I
know all the things you do. I have seen your love, your faith, your service,
and your patient endurance. And I can see your constant improvement in all
these things.
Are we constantly
growing? One reason it is important to have someone holding us to account is
that they can ask us how things are going and specifically help us to evaluate
whether we are growing in our love for God and others, our faith and in our
service. Most of us struggle to persevere at times and need the encouragement
and prayers of those who know us well. Do we have someone or several people who
spurs us on in love, faith and service? Father
thank you for those who help me grow, I pray I would continue to be helped by
others and also help those you have given me to love you more.
